We're thrilled to share that we've been named a finalist for the 2021 Drum Awards, Digital Industries, for Recruitment, with our partner JINYA Raman Bar.

Our team has been working with Justin Bartek, head of marketing at upscale ramen franchise JINYA Ramen Bar on recruitment marketing campaigns to attract and hire staff at the local level across dozens of locations.

It was no secret that hiring in the restaurant industry has been a major challenge in the past year. Staffing shortages were not only impacting their existing spots, but it was prohibiting the opening of new locations as well.

Always looking to innovate, Bartek wanted to approach hiring as he does the rest of the brand’s local marketing, but instead of engaging new customers, he sought to attract and convert new staff members.

JINYA was able to leverage the Hyperlocology platform the same way they do for local digital advertising, but instead of new specials, they ran recruiting campaigns for specific roles in communities. The idea was well-received by individual franchisees who appreciated the support at the brand level.

Understanding local community and candidate attributes allow the JINYA team to launch custom and effective recruiting campaigns for every role from the corporate office to local kitchens.

We are honored to be recognized for this collaborative work by The Drum, which is a prestigious global marketing organization. The Drum Digital Industries' competition is one of the longest-running events in The Drum Awards calendar, first launched in 2006. Each year, the work is judged by senior figures from international brands, global consultancies, and fast-growing independent agencies.
